Robert Selden Duvall is an Academy Award and four-time Golden Globe winning American film actor and director.

He received Academy Award nominations for best supporting actor in ‘A Civil Action’, ‘The Godfather’, and ‘Apocalypse Now’, and nominations for best actor in ‘The Great Santini’ and ‘The Apostle’, which he also directed. Duvall won an Academy Award for best actor for ‘Tender Memories’, and won the National Medal of Arts in 2005.
