Jose Maria Aznar is a Spanish who served as prime minister from 1996 to 2004. A staunch advocate of the U.S. lead invasion of Iraq, he was voted out of office three days after a deadly train bombing in Madrid belived to be perpetrated by Islamic extremists.

After leaving office, Aznar has presided over the FAES think tank, which is associated with the Popular Party (PP). He also sits on the Board of Directors of News Corporation.
