Paul Rieckhoff is a United States veteran of the Iraq War, and founder of Operation Truth (now called Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America). He is a Lieutenant with the United States National Guard and known as a critic of U.S. policy in Iraq.

Rieckhoff wrote a book entitled “Chasing Ghosts: A Soldier’s Fight for America from Baghdad to Washington” (2006).
