Jane Campion is a producer, writer and Academy Award winning film maker. Her first short film, “Peel” won the Palme D’Or at the Cannes Film Festival and other awards followed for the shorts “Passionless Moments” and “Girls Own Story”. “Sweetie” was her feature debut, and won international awards. Further recognition followed with “An Angel at my Table”, and another Palme d’Or at Cannes for “The Piano”, which won the best director award from the Australian Film Institute and an Oscar for best screenplay. She was the second woman ever to be nominated best director at the 66th Academy Awards.

Campion’s other works include “The Portrait of a Lady”, “Holy Smoke!”, and “In the Cut”. She was an executive producer for the documentary “Abduction: The Megumi Yokota Story”.
