Dwayne Douglas Johnson, known as The Rock, is an American actor and third-generation professional wrestler, best known for his time in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE, formerly WWF). He holds the record for most reigns as WWF/E Champion, having held the title seven times before he left the business in 2004. The Rock transitioned to a more traditional acting career after his popular appearance as host of “Saturday Night Live,” going on to star in movies such as “The Rundown”, “Walking Tall”, and “Gridiron Gang”.
