Quentin Jerome Tarantino is an American film director, actor, and Academy Award-winning screenwriter. He rose to fame in the early 1990s as an indie filmmaker whose films used nonlinear storylines, and stylized violence. His films include “Reservoir Dogs”, “Pulp Fiction”, “Jackie Brown”, and “Kill Bill”.

Tarantino’s movie, “Pulp Fiction” revolutionized the independent film industry by showing that indie films could do well at the box office. It also earned Tarantino and Avary Oscars for Best Original Screenplay, and was also nominated for Best Picture.
