Wes Boyd is co-founder of Berkeley Systems, a San Francisco Bay area software company that he started with his wife Joan Blades. After selling the company in 1997, Boyd and Blades went on to found the liberal political group MoveOn.org, which coordinates fundraising and advocacy for liberal and progressive political candidates.
