Richard Falkenrath is the deputy commissioner for counterterrorism with the New York City Police department. He was previously on the National Security Council Staff under the Bush-Cheney administration. Falkenrath has also served as the Stephen and Barbara Friedman Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution, an advisor and spokesman for Bush-Cheney 2004 reelection campaign, a security analyst at CNN and a Managing Director at the Civitas Group LLC.
