Leonard Albert “Lenny” Kravitz is an American rock singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist whose retro-style amalgam of rock, pop, funk, and even techno is inspired by such music icons as Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Prince, The Guess Who and John Lennon. Kravitz plays guitar, bass, drums, piano, and sitar. He usually plays all the instruments on each recorded track. His albums include ?Let Love Rule? (1989), ?Are You Gonna Go My Way? (1993), ?5? (1998), and ?Lenny? (2001). He won the Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance four years in a row from 1999 to 2002.
