Graydon Carter is a Canadian-born American journalist and author. He is editor of “Vanity Fair” and also co-founded, with Kurt Andersen, the satirical monthly magazine “Spy” in 1986. Carter?s “Vanity Fair” has been notable for combining high-profile celebrity cover stories with serious journalism. His often idiosyncratic personal style was the subject of a book by former “Vanity Fair” contributing editor Toby Young, “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People”.
