Susan Lee is a member of ?The Wall Street Journal’s? editorial board. She began her journalism career at the Journal in 1982, leaving in the mid-1980s. Before rejoining the Journal in 2000, she was a columnist and senior editor at ?Forbes? magazine and deputy editor of ?The New York Times? op-ed page. She has also been a commentator for NPR’s “Marketplace” and a frequent guest on “The MacNeil-Lehrer NewsHour,” as well as a weekly commentator for NBC’s “News at Sunrise.”
Ms. Lee is author of a college textbook and several trade books; her most recent book is “Hands Off: Why the Government Is a Menace to Economic Health.” She has received many awards, including the Institute for Political Journalism’s Economic Journalism Award in 2001.
