Brett Ratner is an American film director and music-video director. Ratner directed music videos before reaching commercial success with the action-comedy “Rush Hour” (1998), starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, both of whom reunited with Ratner for a sequel, “Rush Hour 2” (2001). Ratner has also directed “X-Men: The Last Stand” (2006) and “After the Sunset” (2004).
