Mike Wallace is a former American game show host, television personality, and journalist. He is best known as a television correspondent for CBS’s ‘60 Minutes’, having been with that program since it first began in 1968 to his departure in 2006. During his career at ‘60 Minutes’, he has interviewed a wide range of newsmakers, including Johnny Carson, Ted Turner, Deng Xiaoping, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, Ayatollah Khomeini, Kurt Waldheim, Malcolm X, Jeffrey Wigand, Yasser Arafat, Ayn Rand, Menachem Begin, Anwar Sadat, Manuel Noriega, Vladimir Putin, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
