Jerrold Lewis Nadler is an American politician. A Democrat, Nadler represents New York?s 8th congressional district which includes the site where the World Trade Center stood in downtown Manhattan.

Nadler graduated from Columbia University and Fordham University School of Law. He first came to prominence during the impeachment of Bill Clinton, when he described the process as a “partisan railroad job.”

After the September 11, 2001 attacks, Nadler helped to pass bills for the families of those killed and small businesses that were harmed due to the attacks.
