Mitchell Hurwitz is an American television producer. He is perhaps best known for creating the show “Arrested Development”. Together with Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and David Nevins (all part of Imagine Entertainment) he is also an executive producer. His decision not to continue with the show effectively ended any hopes for the series’ continuation. “Arrested Development received several Emmy nominations and Hurwitz received the 2004 Writers Guild of America Award for best teleplay in an episodic comedy.
Hurwitz was also the creator of “The Ellen Show”, and writer for “The John Larroquette Show” and “The Golden Girls”.
