Raymond Gilmartin is a current member of the board of directors at Microsoft and General Mills.

Gilmartin served as the Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Office of Merck & Co., Inc. from 1994 to May 2005. Prior to joining Merck, Gilmartin was Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Becton Dickinson and Company. In July 2006, Gilmartin joined the faculty of Harvard Business School as Professor of Management Practice teaching in the MBA program.
