Terence Ward is a writer and cross-cultural consultant for multi-national companies, foundations and governments in the Islamic World and the West. He was born in Boulder, Colorado in 1955, and spent his childhood in Arabia and Iran. He received his Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California at Berkeley, and continued his studies at the American University of Cairo, specializing in Eastern history and contemporary Islamic political movements. Later, he earned his MBA from the International Management Institute and the University of Geneva in Switzerland.

Ward has consulted and conducted seminars throughout the Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean and the U.S. To assist newly assigned Western executives, he co-developed the seminar, Management in the Arab World, focusing on the unique cultural, historic, and religious issues of the region. Terence Ward’s book, ‘Searching for Hassan: A Journey to the Heart of Iran’, chronicles an odyssey of return two decades after the Islamic Revolution of 1979.
