David Talbot is an American journalist and editor. He is founder, chairman and editor-in-chief of “Salon.com”, an award-winning online news publication that explores new ideas in art, culture, and politics. Before “Salon”, Talbot was the arts and features editor at the “San Francisco Examiner”, and a former senior editor at “Mother Jones” magazine. He has also written for “The New Yorker”, “Rolling Stone”, and “Interview”. He is the co-author of “Burning Desires: Sex in America”.
