Clive Owen is a Golden Globe and BAFTA winning critically acclaimed English actor, now a regular performer in Hollywood and independent American films. In 2005, Owen was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe and BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film version of “Closer”.

Initially, Owen carved out a career in television, mostly in BBC productions. In 1996, he appeared in his first major Hollywood film, “The Rich Man’s Wife”, alongside Halle Berry. In 1998, he found international acclaim in a Channel 4 film directed by Mike Hodges, “Croupier”. Other notable films include “Greenfingers”, “Gosford Park”, “The Bourne Identity”, “King Arthur”, “Derailed”, “Sin City”, and “Inside Man”.
